Sorry, forgot one item:

9. I commented out inclusion of the "internal" directory because there 
was this compile error, which i did not attempt to fix:

[ERROR] [ERROR] The element type "xs:enumeration" must be terminated by 
the matching end-tag "</xs:enumeration>".
[ERROR]   line 56 of 
file:/export/home/calmer/dharland/workspace/VCI/internal/host.xsd

If anyone fixes that file, look for a TODO marker in pom.xml and 
reactivate inclusion of internal.
