is there in fact any good argument that anybody wants to bring up *against* 
moving to subversion?

it has so many advantages (it's maintained and updated; it's well documented; it 
is almost plug-and-play with cvs from command line; it has nice GUI versions 
[tortoiseSVN for windows; ZigVersion for mac; there must be one for linux...]; 
etc.).

one could make an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" argument, i guess...
