I attended the Rocky Mountain Oracle Users' Group quarterly training
last week and found some very interesting software that is available
free from Oracle. I spoke to two developers who have used the products
to do some fairly sophisticated rapid development work. Neither of these
people were employed by Oracle and this was not an Oracle sales pitch.

JDeveloper is Oracle's java web development tool which employs a best
practices template. Details are in:

http://www.oracle.com/tools/jdev_home.html

Application Express allows you to bundle previous applications and
create a web service. Details may be found in:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/index.html

Just wanted to pass this along to you. Please let me know if you would
like either of these applications set up on a server, or if you would
like me to get more information.

Cheers,
Pat
