[evla-sw-discuss] EVLA problems

    There's something wrong with the Linux boxes at the VLA,
amos,andy,mchost, eva etc.    We're not  sure what .. it's painfully
hard to debug since we can't get an interactive shell.

    Early indications are we may have lost a disk on andy (that
stores /usr/local and others).    If so we can temporarily fix it
remotely by pointing automounter maps back at filehost here
and rebooting all the machines out there.

     We should know more in the next 30 minutes or so.
