[evla-sw-discuss] format of date/time line in observe file?

Does the date/time line in a VLA observe file have to be in a specific 
format
for the evla script to parse it correctly?  And does each column and 
space have to line up
correctly?

There are observers who generate files with the correct information in
that comment line, but it is sometimes in a different format, or off by 
a space or two.
When that happens JObserve won't read it.  So I was wondering if the 
parser would
read it.
