Term alert is defined in the following NRAO document:
Antenna Monitor & Control System, Preliminary Requirements Specification,
Rev. 2.0, April 4 2002.

The document defines three types of alerts: failure, warning and error (see
page 16).
My proposal is to add the fourth type: information, which will be used to
report non-fault events.
