Hi Hugh,
As Chris said, the SVN codebase is frozen and provided for access to old
legacy versions only. Git cloning dev (or 2.9) is where you want to be.
Walter had already said in a subsequent email, but the code in vdiffile
shows a better way to set the vdifmuxchannels. See
https://github.com/difx/difx/blob/dev/mpifxcorr/src/vdiffile.cpp#L548 and
the code leading up to that (that calculates nBandPerThread).
