[Apologies if you receive this announcement multiple times]

Dear all,

With this we would like to announce the first SFXC Correlator Workshop to be held later this year, on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 September 2025.

The two-day in-person workshop follows directly after the JIVE VLBI School (15-19 September) and will be held at the Joint Institute for VLBI ERIC host institute's premises in Dwingeloo, the Netherlands.

The goal for the intended audience of ~20 persons maximum is to introduce (software) correlation and everything required to processing raw telescope voltage data with the JIVE SFXC software correlator into a VLBI data product through a mix of lectures and hands-on sessions. Special attention will be given to exploring the advanced science capabilities of the SFXC correlator software such as FRB localization, wide-field correlation, and near-field VLBI for e.g. space-science applications.

More details about the workshop will be sent out later - stay tuned.
Feel free to share this announcement liberally with others.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact any/all of the organising committee.

The SFXC Correlator Workshop organising committee,
Mark Kettenis, Aard Keimpema, Des Small, and Marjolein Verkouter (address pattern: <last name> <at> jive.eu)
