<span style="font-size: 10pt;">I am a Master's student and I have been trying to install AIPS via 'install.pl' file provided on the main site on my ubuntu dektop (v22.04) since the past month. But for some reason, it fails to compile certain packages (</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><b style="font-size: 10pt;">F2PS,
F2TEXT, NEWEST, PRINTENV, AIPWD, REVENV</b></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">) and building of
</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><b style="font-size: 10pt;">PP preprocessor (PP.EXE),
</b></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">due to these issues, it is preventing further required packages to build and install such as INSTEP2 , XASTV, AIPS TV and so on. </span></div>
