        in length, longer than DATAIN and DATAOUT.  Changed it to
        never copy ".snapshot" and to recursively copy directories
        with names starting with a period only if PRTLEV >= 10.
        Added code to clean up the directory names in case there
        are left over quote or blank characters or an AIPS-style
        logical (e.g. 'MYWORK:') is used.
        Moved nowhere.
