[daip] MacOS version question for AIPS installation {External}

Hello

(1) I am going to do a new install of AIPS on a MacBook Pro 2019 2.3
GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 running macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Is this the best macOS or do you recommend first upgrading to Bug Sur 11.x.x ?

(2) Is it still recommended that I install the 'new' version which
appears to be 31DEC21 ?

Sorry if these questions should be obvious. I am doing my own
installation after a long time.
