[daip] AIPS on NRAO site machine vlite-nrl {External}

Hi Eric, Lorant,

 

We have not been able to get our scripts on our vlite-nrl machine that use AIPS and Obit working. It looks like this stopped working around November 16. We didn’t look into it until today to try to get our scripts running but it seems that there is something not working with AIPS there. The machine we are running this on is 192.92.119.50 (vlite-nrl) under user vlitenrl. Do you have any suggestions for this? I know that sometimes things get a little wonky with AIPS that are machines connect to at the site.

 

Here is what happens when I just try to start AIPS:

 

Starting up 31DEC23 AIPS with normal priority

/home/AIPS/31DEC23/LNX64/LOAD/ZSTRTA.EXE: error while loading shared libraries: libquadmath.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

vlitenrl at vlite-nrl[~/vlite/local/bin]% DADEVS.PL: This program is untested under Perl version 5.010

STARTPMON: [VLITE-NRL] Starting TPMON1 with output SUPPRESSED

TPMON1: error while loading shared libraries: libquadmath.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
