I think your problem is dowait -1 - with dowait 1 it echoes the scans - 
I forget this sometimes too

if you do an imhead and see all tables it is done, you can also look at 
the log file in your home dir and see it finished more than half an hour 
ago:

ASDMList: info    20220414T151553 ASDMList Ends, svn ver. 637M
ASDMList: info    20220414T151553 Date/Time: 2022-04-14  15:15:53
