[daip] AIPS on M1 machines {External}

Hello,

The homepage of AIPS mentions that it may be long before it can be operated on machines with apple silicon (M1, M1 pro or M1 max). I am writing to ask if there is any update on that matter. Could someone with an M1 machine install and run AIPS normally?
