Hello,
I am really sorry to bother you, but I am trying to run VLBAPCOR on a
VLBA dataset which does not have a PC table. As shown below, I have set
opcode to 'CALP' and specified all nine antennas in the ANTENNAS as shown
below
AIPS 1: VLBAPCOR: Procedure to correct instrumental phases
AIPS 1: Adverbs Values Comments
AIPS 1: ----------------------------------------------------------------
AIPS 1: INNAME 'NEP_LBAND' Input UV file name (name)
AIPS 1: INCLASS 'UV' Input UV file name (class)
AIPS 1: INSEQ 1 Input UV file name (seq. #)
AIPS 1: INDISK 1 Input UV file disk unit #
AIPS 1: TIMERANG 0 23 Time range of a calibrator
AIPS 1: 25 0 1-4 = start day,hr,min,sec
AIPS 1: 0 23 5-8 = end day,hr,min,sec
AIPS 1: 35 0 MUST BE SPECIFIED
AIPS 1: REFANT 2 Ref. antenna, 0=>the first
AIPS 1: SUBARRAY 0 Subarray; 0 => all.
AIPS 1: CALSOUR 'J1723+6547' Calibrator source name;
AIPS 1: *rest ' ' blank => any
AIPS 1: GAINUSE 0 CL table to use; 0=>highest
AIPS 1: ADVERBS FOR ANTENNAS NOT
AIPS 1: CONTAINED IN PC TABLE:
AIPS 1: INVERS -1 Input PC table, 0=>last one
AIPS 1: OPCODE 'CALP' 'CALP' if you are missing PC
AIPS 1: information for any antenna;
AIPS 1: ANTENNAS 1 2 antennas for which manual
AIPS 1: 3 4 phase corrections should be
AIPS 1: 5 6 obtained (i.e. they are
AIPS 1: 7 8 missing from the PC table or
AIPS 1: 9 *rest 0 are the pcals in PC table are
AIPS 1: incorrect).
When I run vlbapcor, I get the following message:
ADUAE3> PCCOR1: Task PCCOR (release of 31DEC21) begins
ADUAE3> PCCOR1: No PC table found
ADUAE3> PCCOR1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes
ADUAE3> PCCOR1: aduae312-lap 31DEC21 TST: Cpu= 0.0 Real= 0
Which is correct since this dataset has no PC table, as shown in the output
from imhead:

Do you have any suggestions as to how I get around this? Thanks a lot, and
hope all is well -- Yosi
