I am just back in my office for the first time in over 6 months and trying to resume some data reduction.
I have an older machine running 31DEC19 under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and discovered that AIPS will no longer start up. My IT guru noted that it appears that an MNJ update of TPMON on August 27 left it with a version requiring a newer glibc version than is availble for my OS.
Is there any straightforward workaround? I am trying to phase out use of this machine and don't want to have to attempt an OS upgrade, but all my data are now effectively inaccessible.
