I also found a curiosity in VLBAFIX that caused its failure to split things.  It was something failing in the POPS for which I added a work around.  I have not found anything in ACCOR however.  I have fixed the AIPSPATH.SH and .CSH so that they post-pend the AIPS areas and also avoid the unrestrained growth in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.  The real problem came with Macs.  Scripts on Macs do not differentiate on case although command line entries do.  So with this order the AIPS scripts named PP, FC, and LINK had to be renamed AIPP, AIFC, and AILINK with accompanying changes inside the scripts and in the scripts that invoke them.  I think (hope) I have it all working now!
