I assumed I was looking at visibility amplitudes and most plot programs 
can also plot phase of interferometry data.  I have had users who 
observed lines that were only 1-2 channels wide.  CVEL made a terrible 
mess of them.  These ripples, whatever they are, are caused by an FFT 
and shift of some sort of narrow signal either RFI or celestial.
