Hello,
I have been trying to install the 31DEC19 version of AIPS but cannot get the AIPSTV to install correctly. I have tried both the binary and text installation methods. When I attempt the text installation, the installer looks in the wrong location for my install of gcc; it looks in an /opt/local/compilers directory which doesn't exist whereas my gcc path is /usr/bin/. The binary installation proceeds smoothly and all three AIPS windowns (TV, MSGSRV, TEKSRV) appear but when I try to examine calibration solutions, nothing plots. No warnings show when I first run AIPS and enter my AIPS number. The MSGSRV works perfectly.
I have also been attempting to use the VLBARUN pipeline and have installed graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat and mailutils (it was throwing some errors at me). It still fails with the error:
AIPS 1: SYSTEM command to be executed is:AIPS 1: echo "VLBARUN failed, please review your inputs and try again."AIPS 1: >> /tmp/p_tempmailAIPS 1: SYSTEM command to be executed is:AIPS 1: cat /tmp/p_tempmail | mail -s "VLBARUN FAILED : B61_VLBARUN.UVDAAIPS 1: TA.1" gwalsh4758 at gmail.com >> /dev/ttyAIPS 1: SYSTEM command to be executed is:AIPS 1: \rm /tmp/p_tempmail >> /dev/ttyAIPS 1: -1 'ERROR#9 OCCURRED'AIPS 1: 'PLEASE REVIEW YOUR INPUTS AND TRY AGAIN'
Could you explain to me how to solve this issue?
Thank you,
Greg
