I have revised my AIPSPATH.SH file to try putting the AIPS info at the end of $PATH instead of the beginning.  It seems to work but I want to try it for a while to be sure that everything works.  I guess we were wanting to make sure that some system thing did not replace some desired aips thing.  But with Mac OS having issues with case we had to rename all aips things to unique names anyway.  You make reference to $AIPS_PATH which does not in fact exist so I was a bit confused but found things eventually.
