I have changed from the Intel compiler which is apparently 32-bit
(and will stay that way for a while) to the gfortran 6.3 compiler.
When I say gfortran -v it shows lots of things that indicate that it
is a 64-bit application.  A MNJ on 31DEC19 at this point will get
you the gfortran version.
