OK! This should explain the issue when using 3C345 for the bandpass calibration...
However, when I use the target (that is brighter than 3C345) to generate the bandpass solutions, I get the same effect for ACSCL (i.e. amplitudes go to zero after running it) even though the BP values are around 1 (as shown in the plot attached). Also in this case I tried both smoothing and not smoothing the solutions, but it does not change the outcome of ACSCL. Let me know if you have suggestions on what I should check for understanding the causes of this issue.
