I do not know why that library is causing so much problem - I have 
removed it from the AIPS distribution and you should simply delete it.

$TST/LNX64/LIBR/INTELCMP/libtinfo.so.5

Another user (from Poland) also just reported this problem.  The first 
user that had an issue will have to find another work around.
