The $AIPS_ROOT/DA00/DADEVS.LIST file contains the names of the data
areas to be used. If the first character in the line defining an area
is a minus sign, then the area is optional and will be included only if
the data area contains a string matching the host name. Thus on my
machine, called primate, only data areas such as
- /home/primate/AIPS/PRIMATE_1
would be included while
- /home/primate/AIPS/PILABO_1
would not. Note that the name match is in upper case letters. The
alternative is to put a plus sign in column 1. Then the data area will
be included by EVERY computer using this installation. Depending on
your answer to section 5a of install.pl, the host name will be an actual
host name, e.g. PRIMATE or it will be LOCALHOST.
