The parsing of the DADEVS info is complex.  There are multiplepossible files it can read:The first is $HOME/.dadevs.always which, as its name suggests,is always used no matter the host name.Then there is the $DA00/DADEVS.LIST file which you are attemptingto use.  That file here has many hundreds of lines for a 100 or so aips computers in our local network.  DADEVS picks out only thoselines which match the $HOST name - LOCALHOST in your case.Therefore the ICARUS file will be ignored.  Rename it to LOCALHOST_2 or something and it will be used.  Or you can put a + in column 1 ratherthan a minus at it will be used regardless of name.Eric Greisen
