Hi Eric,
sorry for the delay getting back, I was on a short vacation. I've spent
today digging in further and I think it may be resolved, although looking
back I'm not entirely sure how.

I think the glibc issue is due to the older version of CentOS on that
machine. The gfortran issue went away on it's own when I did the text
installation. I also had to fix the permissions on DA00/$HOSTNAME/ACD000000;

I never did see anything set for LD_LIBRARY_PATH before or after sourcing
LOGIN.CSH though.
