Eric,

I have had to install tips on a new laptop for my student.  I followed all of the install guidelines for mac and I can get aips to work with not but when I try to start up aips with the tv, I get the following errors.

It is on a MACOC 10.11.6.   I've tried to reboot and checked all of the files that I needed to create in the /etc directory, and everything seems fine.
