I am trying to create the tables needed for calibration in the case where they are not included with the original data file. In my case, I have data from VLBA antennas that were correlated at Haystack rather than in Socorro.

Following the Cookbook, I downloaded two files:

http://www.vlba.nrao.edu/astro/VOBS/astronomy/jul16/bm452c/bm452ccal.vlba 
http://www.vlba.nrao.edu/astro/VOBS/astronomy/vlba_gains.key

and concatenated them.

When I then attempt to run VLOG, I get the following messages:

forrtl: severe (64): input conversion error, unit -5, file Internal Formatted Read

The two files created contain only comment lines (no data). Is this a bug, or am I using the wrong files?
