[daip] FITLD problem

hi,

just to add one extra bit of information. As a test, I added a temporary 
AIPS disk on the /tmp partition. I can load the data to that disk no 
problem, even though it's much smaller than the main file system. So the 
basic AIPS install is o.k. I guess the issue is caused either by the 
very large size of the main file system, or the fact that it is running 
lustre.
