Dear NRAO helpdesk,

Recently I was trying to convolve a radio map using an image of the beam. Unfortunately, the flux scale after this operation is improper; despite having substituted a correct value for FACTOR inside the CONVL task, resulting flux values are far from being reliable. They are approximately 8000-9000 higher than expected (compared to a convolution with GAUS option and BMAJ and BMIN parameters same as for the beam image). Is there something else that should be set before convolving with IMAG, or it looks like a bug?

I can send both input and output images of necessary, or just the PRTHI outputs for them.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Blazej Nikiel-Wroczynski
