[daip] SPLIT not working on data that came through CASA

Hi Designated AIP,
I'm trying to load some data into AIPS for self calibration---it is ATCA
data that was primarily reduced in CASA. My grad student used
'exportuvfits' in CASA to export the calibrated, splitted data on the
science target to a FITS file. I loaded the data in with FITLD, and all
seems well, although it is loaded in as a multi-source file.

I'd really like to turn these data into a single source file for ease of
self calibration, but I can't seem to get SPLIT or SPLAT to work on
them. I keep getting the error:
SOUFIL: ALL SOURCES REJECTED BY SELECTION CRITERIA
Even if i run SPLIT or SPALT with all default parameters (and so, should
have no selection criteria). I've tried doing various things to the data
before trying SPLIT/SPLAT--- INDXR, UVCOP, UVSRT---but I continue to get
the same error. I'm not really sure how to proceed---any creative ideas?
Thanks!
Laura
