They tell me that you are not an outside user and so they have not set up a special
account and login for you.  The instruction I sent should be sufficient.  If you have
the $HOME/.dadevs.always file then no matter what computer you are using you
have access to that file and the data areas mentioned in it.  You should probably
user local TV also (unix socket rather than internet) so enter
     aips tv=local
to start aips.  I do not know the names of the basic lustre areas in Charlottesville.
You will have to ask the computer support people there to find out what path
you should use to make AIPS data directories.
