AIPS in principle does not invent parameter values when not provided 
them.  The incoming data lack antenna diameters or beam widths and so 
AIPS does not invent them and they are written with clearly incorrect
(or null) values.  Tasks that need an antenna diameter require the user 
to provide it - these 2 parameters are recent additions to the AN format 
and have little support in the community.
