Hi Eric,

I'm experiencing problems with the TV window after running a MNJ and upgrading to MacOS 10.10.5 (from a previous 10.10.x version) somewhere mid-December. Since then, AIPS stopped opening the TV window on my external display. It still works fine when the external display is disconnected.

On the external display it gives me the following output:

MacB> aips tv=local
START_AIPS: Will use or start first available Unix Socket based TV
START_AIPS: Your initial AIPS printer is the (no description supplied by installer)
START_AIPS: - system name XEROX-WC7435-ICT, AIPS type PS

AIPS 2: Enter user ID number

I suspect the issue is the "Shared memory failure", and you have a fix for that on the AIPS pages, but MacOS doesn't have an /etc/system file. Do you have an alternative suggestion to fix this?

Thanks!
Ilse
