Hi,
I am trying to install AIPS 31DEC17 version to my new MacBook Pro (Retina) laptop which has macOS Sierra version 10.12.1. I have installed the requisites like XQuartz, Xcode, and cvs.
I am attempting to do binary installation and I am getting the following error:

sent 108 bytes received 729 bytes 54.00 bytes/sec
total size is 78 speedup is 0.09
cp: MACINT/SYSTEM/MASTER/*: No such file or directory
rm: aips: No such file or directory
rm: UPDCONFIG: No such file or directory
AipsWiz: -- done.

The AIPS Midnight Job is a way to keep your AIPS
AipsWiz: installation up to date. It is secure, relatively
AipsWiz: easy, and can be done on demand or in a cron job
AipsWiz: (i.e. periodically, daily or weekly or whenever).
AipsWiz: It does require that you have the cvs software
AipsWiz: package installed on your system.

AipsWiz: This script will set up the infrastructure for you
AipsWiz: to be *able* to run the Midnight Job (MNJ), but you
AipsWiz: have the power to make it run or not.

chgrp: MAKE.BMNJ: No such file or directory
AipsWiz: About to run 'MAKE.BMNJ '...
AipsWiz: This will generate a fair bit of output.
sh: /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/31DEC17/MACINT/SYSTEM/PCLAPTOP/CDVER.SH: No such file or directory
AipsWiz: Not good; no /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/31DEC17/MACINT/SYSTEM/PCLAPTOP/UPDCONFIG found; did MAKE.BMNJ fail?
AipsWiz: You should investigate this.
AipsWiz: ==> Press <ENTER> to acknowledge:: AipsWiz: =====> Generate system files via FILAIP/POPSGN...
AipsWiz: This will generate some output, including a copyright (left)
AipsWiz: statement and some prompts, but should end with a 'Done!' if
AipsWiz: everything worked...

cp: /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/31DEC17/MACINT/SYSTEM/fix_aips_elcap.sh: No such file or directory
chmod: /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/31DEC17/MACINT/SYSTEM/PCLAPTOP/fix_aips_elcap.sh: No such file or directory
cp: /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/31DEC17/MACINT/SYSTEM/fix_aips_elcap.sh: No such file or directory
chmod: /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/fix_aips_elcap.sh: No such file or directory
AipsWiz: ***************** READ CAREFULLY **************************

AipsWiz: If you are running on version 10.11 of the Max OS X called
El Capitan, you need to do one more thing NOW to correct for
the loss of the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH functionality. In a 2nd
window, start bash, source /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/LOGIN.SH
Then ./Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS/fix_aips_elcap.sh
Do not run as root or under sudo and note the dot
you will be prompted for your password once.

AipsWiz: ==> Hit return in this window when ready.:

There is some issue with MAKE.BMNJ. However, more serious issue is that install.pl is not putting fix_aips_elcap.sh and I apparently cannot proceed without running this script! How should I proceed now?

Thanks
Poonam
