[daip] Maximum number of subarrays

Hi there.

Is there a maximum number of subarrays in AIPS? I was combining many 
small files together using DBCON and this was failing for no obvious 
reason, but my suspicion is that AIPS can only cope with a maximum of 50 
subarrays. Can you confirm this?

I have many epochs of VLA monitoring data (>100) which I want to combine 
together - how can I do this? The array parameters do seem to vary from 
epoch to epoch (usually due to updated positions) and so using DOARRAY=1 
seems appropriate. Is it possible to use DOARRAY=-1? I'm never sure what 
the potential pitfalls are if this isn't true.
