No worries about the delay - everything works so just a minor thing.

You are right - I had doprint negative and fitout blank. If I set doprint to 0 the errors disappear.

I tried the same with LISTR, and I get the same behaviour (DOCRT < 0; OUTPRINT blank).

Replacing the file ZLPCL2 with the one you attached makes no difference, if I have doprint <0 I still get the same error. 

So, it seems the error is general and not tied to JMFIT. For my purposes, I can just set doprint=0 to remove the error. But perhaps, one can dig into this further on a rainy day. Perhaps it is something with the printer configuration on this particular computer. I'll probably not have time to investigate this, since it works, but thanks for the response - I feel a little wiser.
