[daip] Query about AIPS installation

Respected sir,
                        I am a Ph.D. student and doing my work in
Astrophysics. I am trying to install AIPS in my Ubuntu 14.04.02 pc. But I
am encountering errors. Can I install it on UBUNTU 14.04.02 LTS 64 bit ?
         Please reply asap.
