Hi,

I'm running AIPS 31DEC15 (recently installed) on Yosemite 10.10.3

I created  /etc/ sysctl.conf file which looks as follows (having a retina display 13" MacBook Pro):
kern.sysv.shmmax=16777216
kern.sysv.shmmin=1
kern.sysv.shmmni=32
kern.sysv.shmseg=8
kern.sysv.shmall=4096

I rebooted the Mac, but I still get the following message when starting up AIPS and the TV display when using TVMOVIE, for example, is slow.
