I think your adverbs to CLCAL are causing this issue.  Use OPCODE = 'CALP' 
(or ' ') which will pass through all sources and all times not just 1843.  Let it take
CL version 1 and make a version 3.  Then check the data in the CL (SNPLT is good)
to see if there is actually calibration for that last target scan.

I also worry that SIMP may be causing it to drop the  scan after the last calibrator
scan.  Try 'INTERPOL ' ' (2PT).

CLCAL is dangerous - it can make an output CL table missing data completely
which will now cause those data to disappear from the UV file too when
docal = +1.
