I didn't get a chance to test PRTMSG until today. It still seems to give the same ominous warning as before, e.g.:

>prtask 'getjy'
>docrt -1
>go prtmsg
AIPS 1: Printer job of 312082 lines possible: do you mean it?
?yes
AIPS 1: ZLPOPN: printer file = /tmp/ZLPOPN.a29195
AIPS 1: Messages sent to the HP LaserJet, East Pod
...
AIPS 1: Printed     40 messages
