The old task XGAUS for some reason felt that you should
provide 6 more spectral channels than the number of
parameters for which you are fitting.  While reasonable,
it should not be an absolute limit.  Changed that to
require 1 more pixel on the frequency axis than the
number of parameters fit and to count that number more
carefully in RMFIT.  That error message forgot to set the
error code, so the task did not quit even though essential
preparations had been skipped.  Tomorrow's MNJ should
get this fixed.

Remember 3 components use 9 or 12 parameters depending
on whether you fit thickness.  So a spectrum of 10 or 13 frequencies
is required.
