[daip] Problems Installing AIPS on Linux 64 bit

I am attempting to install AIPS on my laptop running Linux. I get through all of the install wizard but then I am met with:

AipsWiz:  =====> Compile Utility Programs (if needed) in /home/bundasan/AIPS/31DEC14/LNX64/SYSTEM/ANDREWUBUNTU...
AipsWiz: Compiling F2PS...
AipsWiz: Error: Failed to compile F2PS in /home/bundasan/AIPS/31DEC14/LNX64/SYSTEM/ANDREWUBUNTU
AipsWiz: Error: You need to find out why (later), but for now
AipsWiz: Error: let's proceed...
AipsWiz: ==> Press <ENTER> to acknowledge:: 

It repeats this error message for F2TEXT, NEWEST, etc. I have tried searching for a solution to this error but have been met with little success. Do you have any idea what I can do to fix this error?
