It was only slightly the fault of your data - the GLS projection
requires special coordinate code where it searches for the
desired coordinate.  For grey-scale plots the axes have to be
at least 0.5 pixels outside the image so that the border lines
do not draw in the middle of the data.  The search routines
could not find values that far off the image and then the
ticks plotting routines were too fussy about the answers.
Changed DIRRA, DIRDEC, CTICS, and ITICS to fix all this
and the re-linked a whole bunch.  After tomorrow's MNJ
things should be happier.  Still not wonderful for a 4 x 1
pixel spatial image but better.
