These residual images from XGAUS are very useful. However, I encounter a problem with them if I display them in the TV and try to overplot labels using TVLABEL.

If LTYPE=4, it works fine, but if LTYPE=3, the x-axis (velocity axis) has no units, and it prints:

AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10
AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10
AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10
AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10
AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10
AIPS 1: DIRDEC: ITERATIONS REQUIRED =    10

Wiith my original input cube (which also has velocity on the x-axis), I get the same messages, but in that case it does show the labels.
