I found that MAXFIT was fitting ia max n the absolute value of the image.
I changed that to use the image values or the negative of the image
values depending on the adverb DOINVERS.  Set <=0 for a 
positive going peak and > 0 for a negative going peak.

Tomorrow's MNJ will update this.
