I am back from vacation and taking a look at things.  I think
I see a possible error in MFPRT.  Do an ALTSW on the image
so that FREQ is the visible axis rather than velocity.  Then 
MFPRT should give velocities less than the speed of light
(the format used is big enough for c) and ***** implies format 
overflow.
