Hi John,

You are correct that you should use BDF2AIPS.  The caveat is that BDF2AIPS (and BDFLIST) are not AIPS tasks but actually verbs that call tasks in the OBIT package.  If you do not have OBIT then these will not work.  This is the only way I know of to get EVLA data into AIPS, beyond loading it into CASA and writing out a FITS file, but that is not reliable which is why they disabled that option.
