I have LINUX64 PC with UBUNTU 12.04. I use the latest version of AIPS 31DEC13 although I have the same problem in AIPS 31DEC14.
I reduce the VLBA data at 43 GHz of 2014 June (BM353W). The original
data without any calibration show a stable amplitude with frequency at BR
for both polarization (POSSM_ORIGINALDATA.PS, this is for a scan #56
for 3C279) while after VLBACALA with DOFIT=1 the amplitude at all baselines
which involve the first antenna BR shows a strong decrease of the amplitude with
frequency for RR (POSSM_RRAFTERVLBACALA.PS) but not for LL (POSSM_LLAFTERVLBACALA.PS). The opacity curve (DOFIT1.PS) looks normally. Below I have parameters of APCAL after VLBACALA.
Figures are attached.
Thank you very much,
Svetlana
