I have created VLBAACOR and VLBAAPCL procs as per my previous message.
These are the ACCOR and APCAL portions of VLBACALA. I also have the
corresponding help files. If you are interested in these for standard
AIPS, let me know and I will make them available. The help files will
need a small change concerning where to get the procs (VLBAUTIL or
whatever rather than in the HYB script).
While at it, I have found a few issues.
The inputs list in the header for VLBACALA (in VLBAUTIL) omits the DOFIT
parameter that is in the help file.
The autoleveling scheme on the VLBA can introduce steps at scan
boundaries. The SNSMO step as previously set up might not deal with
those correctly. After talking to Amy, I changed to doblank=+1 so
basically we are only affecting edited values, changed SMOTYPE to 'VLBI'
so SNSMO will be willing to do the smoothing, and set CPARM to have
values for all types. There will be no difference between VLBI and AMPL
because ACCOR does not set phases.
The help file claims that subarray 0 means subarray 1 bin VLBAACOR. But
setting subarray to 0 results in a CL table with all subarrays.
VKBAACOR seems to work. I'm hampered in testing VLBAAPCL because the
data set I'm working with now has multiple subarrays (created by USUBA)
and a GC table that does not reflect that fact. APCAL will not run
because not all stations in the GC table have the same subarray in the
row, and each station only has one row, so no subarray has a complete
set. As mentioned in an earlier message, somehow APCAL needs to know to
use the same gain entries for all subarrays, or there need to be entries
for all subarrays.
The modified HYB.001 (these procs at the end) and the help files are
located (as sym links to an SVN area) in /home/noatak/AIPS/CODE.
Cheers,
Craig
